Royal Terrace

Located on Nicholson Street is the bluestone line of Royal Terrace, built from 1853-8, a fine example of Regency-style terrace-housing. Residents of the time of the Royal Exhibition Building erection, protested against the building being constructed in ‘their gardens’.
