Eaglehawk Flat, VIC

Eaglehawk Flat was the name given to the gold workings located outside Eaglehawk’s municipal boundary, and downstream along Eaglehawk Creek. The settlement was on the Epsom road, near its intersection with Rankins Road, about one and a half kilometres north-east of Eaglehawk. In 1871 its population was 173, but declined in the following years
